| The Joint Area Review, or JAR, is an inspection of all children’s services within a local area. The aim of the JAR inspection is to see how well partners are improving outcomes in the area and whether they are providing joined-up services for children, young people, their parents and carers. |

We want all children and young people in Worcestershire to be healthy, safe and enjoy life and achieve success, make a positive contribution and benefit from economic wellbeing.
Following the final decision on the future pattern of special school provision in South Worcestershire there is an urgent need to draw all the activities together into one overarching plan.
Worcestershire County Council (WCC) is committed to raising educational standards and investing resources to improve opportunities for children and young people throughout the County and, as part of this, a rolling programme of area reviews has been taking place across Worcestershire.
