Below you will find an outline of the key dates for the JAR in Worcestershire. Further details have now been added to this timeline following receipt of information from Ofsted.

October 2007	Phase one of consultation work begins. Document collation preparation work
November 2007	JAR communication work begins. Work stream groups set up.
December 2007	First draft of needs analysis, which will inform the new Children and Young People’s Plan complete.
January 2008	Writing of the new Children and Young People’s Plan begins. Needs analysis complete.
February 2008	Phase two of consultation of the new Children and Young People’s Plan begins. Official JAR Briefing pack received and forthcoming dates will be confirmed. Case file audit activity will commence.
March 2008	Selection of 100 case files will be returned to the inspectors.
20 March 2008	Briefing Conference with Ofsted takes place
31 March 2008	Receipt of Briefing Pack from Ofsted
April 2008	Set up meeting with Lead Inspector to confirm arrangements of inspection. New Children and Young People’s Plan will be signed off.
13 May 2008	Self Assessment to be be submitted to Ofsted
11th - 13th June 2008	Analyis Week
30th June - 11th July 2008	Onsite fieldwork – this will include meetings and observations.
17 September 2008	Draft report received from Ofsted
24 September 2008	Discussion with Ofsted following receipt of report
10 October 2008	Deadline to send any comments regarding report to Ofsted
27 October 2008	Pre published report received from Ofsted
10 November 2008	Latest date to requet review of report by Ofsted
18 November 2008	Final report published
