This is an agreement between local partners in Worcestershire and central government. It started in April 2006 and runs, initially, for three years. In Year 1, it featured 35 outcomes, and well over 100 performance indicators, focused around six themes or “Blocks”. Within the Local Area agreement, there are “reward” outcomes where Worcestershire could “earn” a reward grant from central government, based upon achieving enhanced performance.
On behalf of Worcestershire Partnership, the Research & Intelligence Unit is responsible for the monitoring of the Local Area Agreement. Central government requires a review of progress every six months. TENTM Performance Manager is used to present and disseminate the results. The link below shows the latest version of the TENTM Model developed by the R&I Unit, which has been recognised as best practice by the Government Office for the West Midlands.
